The 2011 Polaris Music Prize Gala is invite-only. But the Drake Hotel, HP, and MusiCounts are teaming up to bring you the second annual Polaris Gala screening party!

Here are the details:

The Drake Hotel is once again throwing open its doors the night of the big show for a screening party presented by HP, hosted this year by MuchMoreMusic’s Matt Wells.

Tix are $10 and include complimentary beverages (thanks to the fine folks at SKYY Vodka and Jagermeister) and appetizers plus access to the official after-party!

All proceeds benefit the most excellent music-education program MusiCounts http://www.musicounts.ca/

**The first 100 entrants will receive a copy of the limited-edition official Polaris 2011 hardcover programme booklet (a much-coveted item usually only bestowed upon gala guests!).

**The screening party is also the only place where Polaris fans can enter to win the ultimate VIP upgrade: gala tickets for two, shuttle service to the event in a Scion tC, and a brand-new HP Envy 14 Beats Edition notebook – but you have to be there to win!

Tickets for the screening party are available at the door only – doors open at 7:15 p.m., and capacity is limited, so be sure to arrive early!
